Welcome to Vanessa the Travelling Bot.
Vanessa is a bot that starts with a google search term and follows a random external link from each page she visits starting with the google search results page.
I created this bot just to see what it would do and what kind of sites in which countries it would visit. I was curious.
I named it Vanessa after a friend of mine who is a bit of a globetrotter.

About Vanessa
Vanessa uses two libraries primarily. The first is a wrapper for cURL made by Sean Huber and the second is a HTML DOM Wrapper called SimpleHTMLDOM.
She also uses a third MySQL library created by me to talk to MySQL and (try-to) stop SQL injection automatically.
